Tenacious Toys Meets TNT Plastic = Ectopods on May 3, 2021
What?
That’s what.
Meet the latest Snalien, the Glacier Glow Ectopod! This is the latest exclusive drop from Tenacious Toys. There will be no discussion of the fact that I haven’t updated for months. Instead, we are going to gush over the luminescent cephalopod. It glows in the dark!
This is the third character from TNT Plastic, and the first resin sculpt from Doc Sampson. Our little ectopod friend here will debut on May 3rd of this year in the glorious Glacier Glow colorway. Produced in-house at TNT, they will premiere with Tenacious Toys, and you should totally get one for your bookshelf or gaming desk. Or work, but then you’ll never get to see the glow. Unless you work nights. You can sign up for the TNT Plastic mailing list above.
The first run of 20 pieces will include a limited one-inch baby Snalien in each box, the original Tenacious Blue. Later runs will not have the baby Snalien. (I want a baby Snalien.) The Ectopod, priced at $45 each, is three inches tall, made of high impact resin, and created and made here in the United States by TNT Plastic. The initial limited run of 20 releases May 3rd at 1pm EST. Watch an unboxing video here.
Rumor has it the best way to charge the Ectopod for sparkly glow is with front light. Sunlight and UV light will charge it for nighttime glow. More pics of the cute little glowy boi:
In conclusion: glowy spectral octopi are adorable. Get yours on May 3, 2021.
