Congratulate Modiphius Entertainment For Earning Two “Best of 2021” Awards from Tabletop Gaming Magazine
This week, Modiphius Entertainment earned two (2!) “Best of 2021” awards from Tabletop Gaming Magazine. Modiphius, who you probably know from their work on Fallout: Wasteland Warfare and the official Dishonored RPG, won the awards for their work on two new games. The first game (in my opinion anyway) is The Elder Scrolls: Call to Arms, a miniatures wargame which adapts the core mechanics of Wasteland Warfare for The Elder Scrolls, with new updates that make the gameplay even better. The second award is for The Dune: Adventures in the Imperium roleplaying game, which is still in pre-order for a December 2020 release. Pre-orders will get an 82 page PDF preview and the full PDF before launch.
About The Elder Scrolls: Call to Arms
Did you hear the music playing in your head? You should have! Call to Arms is set in the Fifth Era, in the lands of Skyrim, in the time of the Dragonborn. Battles rage across the forests, plains and mountains of Skyrim as Imperials and Stormcloaks fight for supremacy. In ancient barrows, the restless dead rise from their sleep. Skeletons and fearsome Draugr jealously guard their treasures from bands of delving adventures. The Elder Scrolls: A Call to Arms is an adventure wargame set in the world of Tamriel. Gather your heroes and venture into Draugr haunted tombs and ruins, searching for treasure and glory. Or, fight the Civil War as the Stormcloaks and Imperials battle for the future of Skyrim. Planned releases will expand on The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim®, as well as adding releases from The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion®, The Elder Scrolls Online®, and more.
The miniatures are unassembled and require painting. All the pieces are high quality 32mm multi-part hard plastic or resin figures and each one comes with its own unique custom base. Rest easy: Alduin World-Eater is not yet available. You have time to learn Dragon Rend.
About The Dune RPG
The Imperium is a place of deadly duels, faction politics, and mysterious abilities fueled by Melange – the Spice. Keep your wits about you, and don’t let fear cloud your eyes or your path. Fear is the mind-killer.
The amazing cover art was illustrated by the amazing Bastien Lecouffe-Deharme (Kult, Magic: the Gathering). But anyone who wants to show their allegiance to House Atreides, House Harkonnen, or the Imperial House Corrino will have the opportunity to do so through the special collector’s edition covers.
The Dune RPG will release sometime in December 2020, and Call to Arms is available now. Check out your local friendly gaming stores so you can do some dungeon delving and/or political backstabbing!
